Katie Ann Lehn, RD
Katie Ann Lehn, specializes in culinary nutrition, heart health, diabetes, pre-diabetes, anti-inflammatory living, emotional eating and weight management. Katie understands that a person’s diagnosis does not define who they are and a “one diet fits all” mentality is unreasonable. Using an individualized approach, she considers each of her clients unique characteristics to develop a nutrition and lifestyle plan that each can be successful with.
With a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences-Dietetics and minor in Chemistry from the University of Arizona Katie is well-versed in the scientific foundation of nutrition. She has practical experience educating the community with The Arizona Nutrition Network and The Garden Kitchen of Pima County. Additionally, Katie has held classes for cancer support groups at The Arizona Institute of Urology and foster families with More Than a Bed. With her love of cooking and baking she enjoys holding monthly classes at Nourishing Results, complete with recipes and food demonstrations.
Katie splits her time between Nourishing Results and Banner University Medical Center Tucson. Katie began her career at Banner University Medical Center Tucson in the highly regarded clinical dietetic internship. At Banner, Katie consults with patients who have clinical conditions such as: diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, cancer, cardiovascular, renal and liver diseases.
Katie’s passion is providing individuals with knowledge of nutrition and to inspire confidence in their ability to achieve their own wellness of: mind, body and spirit.
Hana Abdulaziz Feeney is the founder of the functional nutrition private practice, Nourishing Results. It is her passion to empower others to create positive nutrition and lifestyle changes that result in the achievement of one’s goals. Ultimately Hana leads her patients and clients towards improved quality of life, the achievement of optimal health and higher self-confidence.
Hana has unique expertise in digestive health, endocrinology (hormonal health) and weight management. Hana is Tucson’s only dietitian/nutritionist that specializes in three important areas: autoimmunity, fertility and celiac disease. Using a comprehensive body-and-mind approach to wellness, she considers each person as a unique entity and achieves results even in the most challenging of circumstances.
With a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, a master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences and 10 years as a Registered Dietitian practicing as a clinical and sport nutritionist, Hana has developed a strong scientific and analytical approach to human health and wellness. She has developed her expertise and counseling skills by working one-on-one with individuals from all walks of life in private practice, at the University of Arizona Campus Health Service and at the world-renowned Canyon Ranch Health Resort.
Nutrition and patient advocacy are important to Hana. In efforts to engage with the Tucson community in a broader capacity, she is honored to serve on multiple boards. She is the President of the Southern Arizona Celiac Support Medical Advisory Board and is a strong advocate for celiac disease in the Tucson community and a Board Member of Tucson International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.
In addition to consulting with individuals, couples and small groups, Hana is also an effective writer and dynamic speaker. Hana is proud of the work she has done with the highly esteemed Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine (AzCIM). She is lecturer in the Integrative Medicine Residency program and wrote a course on celiac disease for the AzCIM Medical Fellowship program. Hana writes for multiple newsletters, Active.com and Fleet Feet’s Ask the Nutritionist. As an expert in her field, Hana has regular appearances on both radio and television and is frequently consulted by print media. She is an invited presenter at local and regional conferences and regularly presents to both small and large groups. Engaging groups through interactive presentations is one of the most enjoyable aspects of her work as a nutrition educator.
Hana’s diverse experiences allow her to inspire, educate and motivate others to learn how to nourish themselves and achieve the results they desire.
